This is a beautiful screen printed movie poster set for Stanley Kubrick's popular adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining was created by artist Robert Giusti. Again, this is for the set, as in you get both posters. Both posters are 24x36, and both were printed by Baker Press. Few realize that Guisti was the original artist hired by Stanley Kubrick to create a movie poster for The Shining, before the great Saul Bass created what would become the yellow iconic movie poster for the film. Giusti would later paint the covers to Stephen Kingi's IT and Misery novels. The artwork is based on one of Giusti's original unused movie poster designs (sometimes falsely credited to Bass) for The Shining. Giusti himself painted this finished poster design. Only 70 of these poster sets were made, and only five sets of these very rare posters will be available.
